Dahej is a fair-weather lighterage port town, situated at the junction of Guljaria and Ban Creek in Gujarat, on the West Coast of India. The wealth and culture of Gandhar-Dahej region are legendary in the history of Gujarat. Dahej, due to its strategic location, has traditionally been a major centre for internal and international trade. The development of the area received a boost when sizeable reserves of gas and oil were found in the area. Dahej has now emerged as one of the biggest and most vibrant industrial hubs within the state of Gujarat. It has approximately 125 industries (large, medium and small) operating and producing a variety of industrial goods.
There are plans to construct our own residential colony at Dahej, on the lines of the one at Yamunanagar. Currently Bharuch provides convenient accommodation options for our employees.
Dahej is connected to Bharuch (distance 45Kms) and Vadodara (108 Kms) by a four-lane road. There is a dedicated bus facility between Bharuch and Dahej which caters to the daily commuters working at our Dahej plant. The nearest railway station is also located at Bharuch, which is on the main Mumbai-Delhi route, and is connected by a broad gauge line. The nearest airport is at Vadodara, which is well connected with Mumbai and Delhi.
